Must Watch: An Australian Contacts BPO in Tagalog

Remember the guy who ordered "manok ng kaligayan"(chicken joy) in Jollibee? He's back this time he contacts a call center in Manila speaking in fluent Filipino language. See the description below from his Youtube channel.
Check out my hilarious phone call to a Philippine call center earlier this year. The first time I called was actually on legitimate business but after all the laughs, I couldn’t help but call back a few more times. Like always this was totally unscripted and unplanned and hope you enjoy. If you like it please don’t forget to share, it’s the most important thing you can do to help Chris Urbano make more great content. As always email me anytime at ...
Here's the video:

Does your center allow you to speak in the vernacular?
We would like to hear from you. Share your experience remember sharing is caring.

  1. Here's mine:
    Caller: Filipino ka ba?
    Me: Yes sir!
Caller: Are you allowed to speak in tagalog?
    Me: Hindi e.
    (Awkward Silence)

  2. We are allowed to speak in tagalog if tbe customer would start talking to us that way.. :-)

    1. That's good to hear. At least you had a chance to have a good laugh with your Filipino customers.

  3. in our company we allow the costumers to speak in tagalog but we are not allowed to converse with them in vernacular.

  4. That's bullshit! Maybe that doesn't know how hard it is to be a call center agent.

  5. It was very boring, but thanks for sharing. Would like to see more interesting stuff than this.

  6. Thank you so much for sharing this. Would love to see more of these in the future. Keep up the good work!
